Our story

Sharing Yoga with
Our Community

JB Wellness opened in 2018, but working with students started earlier than that.

For over twenty years Jill has been working with clients of all ages, individually and in small groups, to help them build strength and flexibility, to learn breathing and relaxation techniques, to recover from injury, and to help them find balance… in the physical body, and in life. That work is still the heart of the studio.

What changed in 2024 was the location and the format: a larger space with group classes — a schedule open to anyone who wanted to walk in. Today we have classes seven days a week, taught by a team of instructors, alongside a calendar of sound baths, workshops, and community events.

The reason for our studio remains the same.

JB Wellness was created to share yoga and wellness with our community.

We wanted to create a place where people in our community could come as they are, take a deep breath, slow down, and reconnect with themselves. For us, it’s about more than yoga. It’s about creating space for people to feel better, live more fully, and carry that sense of calm and connection with them when they leave.

We believe those small shifts matter. When one person feels a little more grounded, a little happier, or a little more at ease, it touches the people around them — and that feeling continues to ripple outward.

That’s what inspires us. The belief that the more people who have the opportunity to care for themselves, connect with others, and experience the benefits of yoga and wellness, the more kindness, peace, and well-being we bring into our community — and ultimately, into the world.

The studio

A room designed for practicing yoga

Soft fabric draped across the ceiling, warm lamplight instead of harsh lighting, and enough room to breathe — to move freely without feeling like you’re practicing in someone else’s space. Every detail was chosen to create a sense of calm, comfort, and belonging.

We’re here seven days a week, offering over 20 classes, along with events and individual sessions.
